Akar Landscaping Services & Agriculture (AKAR) was established in 2001 in Al Ain, UAE. The company started by supplying the local market with outdoor and commercial landscaping services.

We continue to serve the community through the design, operation and maintenance of landscaping facilities; development of commercial nurseries; and pest control management.

We are the only landscaping company to have been recognized twice by Guinness World Records for the largest number of hanging baskets (2010 and 2011) at our groundbreaking flower garden, Al Ain Paradise. We are also leaders in green sustainability. We pioneered the unique Al Ain Sub Surface Irrigation System (AASSIS), which saves 80% in water irrigation, and we look for every opportunity to use eco-friendly methods and resources.

NURSERIES

AKAR Landscaping Services & Agriculture established its own nursery which is one of the biggest and most professional one in the area. It has production of almost 10 million flowers & plants per year. Seeds and Cuttings from best sources and renowned producers are used for production. AKAR Landscaping Services & Agriculture being distinctive and unique in the production of annual and perennial flowers. Always choose appropriate flower varieties suitable for conditions of the region.

New Varieties of flowers and plants are tried from time to time prior to production on large scale as to make sure to produce the right flower variety during proper plantation time & with selected/ successful specification and colors.

Engineers regularly attend flower exhibitions & flower trials of new varieties, methods and products.
